I graduated from the Institute for Holistic Studies in Santa Barbara, CA in 1985. It was a 1200 hour course covering the structure and function of all systems of the body, including detailed training in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pre-natal, full body reflexology, and foot reflexology therapies. I also graduated from College of Oriental Medicine in Santa Barbara, CA. This course was 100 hours Tui Na Shiatsu massage therapy. I was trained in Lymphatic massage therapy, Chi Nei Tsang, and Polarity Therapy at The Body Therapy Institute in Santa Barbara, CA.
I also attended The School of Energy Studies in Boulder, CO for a 500 hour Craniosacral Therapy course. I have an appreciation and awareness of spa ritual with an emphasis on specialty body treatments, with the ability to create a nurturing environment for clients to receive bodywork through sensitivity, confidentiality, and total integrity. I enjoy the yoga of living & loving, bike riding, jewelry design and silversmithing.
